A must-see!

  • Château de Salignac : a thousand-year-old fortress situated between Brive la Gaillarde and Sarlat la Canéda, guarding the border of the Périgord Noir. Over the last few years, an ambitious conservation project has brought this one of the most important manor houses in Périgord back to life. Come and discover a human adventure that began with a father and son in 2006 to bring this medieval fortress back to life. Follow the progress of the work, from the restoration of the buildings to the faithful reconstruction of the rooms of a castle in its most glorious period: the 15th century. Whether it's through our treasure hunt or our immersive events recreating the medieval life of a castle, immerse yourself in an authentic Middle Ages.
  • The gardens of Manoir d'Eyrignac in Salignac, one of the most beautiful gardens in France, in the heart of the Périgord. A generous land where 7 springs gush forth, an abundance of flora and fauna, a view over the hills of the Périgord Noir, all combine to make the Eyrignac estate a sweet paradise. Awarded the ‘remarkable gardens’ label in 2004, the gardens invite you to discover the 300 yew, boxwood, hornbeam and ivy topiaries, veritable plant sculptures created by hand, the lawns, fountains, ponds, rose garden and flower and vegetable gardens that make up the French garden and the country gardens, as well as the estate's botanical trails.
  • The Château de Lacypierre, nestling in a green alcove, just 10 minutes' drive from the campsite, plunges you into the family history of this beautiful building. Florence and Isabelle will tell you all about their life and that of their parents in the restoration of this charming château, and they will immerse you in its history.
